Enhancing the member experience
Our dedicated Communications team provide our clients with a comprehensive selection of branded materials as a standard part of our proposition. Our Communication Managers are specialised copywriters - they’re experts in writing impactful, clear and compliant communications. They’re also adept at using up to date digital marketing techniques to further strengthen the message and breadth of content we provide for members. We also have in house graphic designers, who are tasked with making our communications as visually compelling as possible.


Branded Communications – Making It Easy
We recognise the importance of reducing the burden for employers when it comes to providing engaging information about employees’ pensions options. Our Communications team will do the leg work when it comes to producing creative communications through a range of channels, tailor made for each client. We pride ourselves on making sure our members are kept informed with all aspects of their pension throughout their lifetime journey. We provide a dedicated comms strategy unique to each client, but we also react to specific client requests as and when they occur.

Pension ‘At a glance’



Scheme Launches
We’ll send the member a new joiner pack and all relevant launch communications, including how members can register for online access. We will also work with the client to build a scheme branded microsite. An unbranded version can be found here.

Transfer Exercises
We’ll support pension consolidations by creating branded transfer emails and a bespoke transfer application form. During the transfer campaign we will post members reminders on the scheme specific microsite, as well as secure in app messages to inform them of key details, including how bulk transfers will preserve protections.

Driving Engagement
Using our unique 7 metric Engagement Dashboard and the wealth of data at our disposal, we’ll create communications to improve engagement across a specific area. If the dashboard shows that relatively few members are paying in additional contributions for example, then we’ll create a campaign to help increase engagement across this metric.

Striking the Right Tone
Not only do we make all of our content easy to understand, but we’ll also amend how its presented where it’s right to do so. This is particularly valuable when supporting our vulnerable members in accessing and reading our content.
Embracing Digital Marketing
We’re able to create interactive, web-based communications for members through Foleon. This enables us to track user engagement, which helps to drive ideas and improvement for future content. A custom made ‘Pension Pocket Guide’ Foleon example can be found here. We have a comprehensive range of video content available, including guides and webinar recordings. This is in addition to the varied online articles we create, scheme branded emails, and PDF guides. As part of our ongoing communications, in a typical month we produce:
- Various scheme branded, employer-issued comms upon request
- Monthly Member Newsletter- making members aware of our video content and online articles
- Fearless Fifties Articles - sent to members aged 50 or above regarding their retirement options
- A topical Switch Your Money On webinar invite
- Financial Education Follow Up Surveys
- 1 Email Campaign (based on one of our 7 Engagement Metrics) or 1 Service Campaign (regarding any upcoming internal developments)
